Our New Website
Welcome to the launch of the new website for The Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma. We began construction a few weeks ago and are excited to begin sharing the process with all of our parishes. After a considerable search for an organization to assist us with building and hosting our website we finally settled on The Digital Faith Community (DFC). We made this decision because of their familiarity with the Episcopal Church, the quality of support, the ease with which we can maintain the site, and the benefits it affords not just to the diocese but to our congregations.
What can be expected in the near future?
* Completion of our initial phase of construction.
* The ability of each of our congregations to move your website or develop a new website under our account, hosted at no cost to the congregation. The congregation will have its own URL and maintain its own site uding DFC's content management system (programming knowledge is not required).
* Training for our staff and the webmaster(s) of each congregation that decides to accept this offer. Training will be required before a congregation can develop their own site.
